Calling it a “Microfest”, the full Newmarket Winter Craft Beer “Micro” Festival runs Saturday and Sunday, March 26 – 27 with a “winter preview edition” Friday night, March 25.
Friday Night
- Tacos & Craft Beer Kick-off Party, Friday night
- Features well-known singer-songwriter and small-town Ontario champion Bernadette Connors. There will be a craft beer bar, and taco stations paired with craft beer by the Armory, and Canadian Food & Wine Institute.
During the weekend:
- Over 10 Ontario craft breweries
- Culinary vendors including
- The Baker’s Bar with their signature craft-beer happy hour cupcakes, versatile Sizzle Sauce,
- “The beer you can eat” from Malty & Hoppy Delicacy
- Mustache Burger Food Truck (Burgers and Poutine)
- Beer & food lover classes, like Pickling with Beer,
- Newmarket artist Hoda Dimitri Nicolas who will be painting live during the event. Artworks will be auctioned off to benefit Newmarket Southlake Regional Health Centre.
- The festival will further support Southlake Hospital through online donation, food stations supported by the Newmarket Lion’s Club, and an online silent auction that will be open for bidding over the full weekend.
Five ticketed sessions for three hours of festival enjoyment including beer tastings and classes. Early bird tickets start at only $25 per person and are available for purchase online at www.newmarketcraftbeerfest.com
