After a little more than a month, Left Field Brewery has raised over $2,200 and we would all love to see that number grow for this organization doing such amazing work!
For 30 years – more than one generation – Anishnawbe Health Toronto has been the only provider of western medical services combined with traditional healing services within a multi-disciplinary health care model. This Indigenous-led, accredited Community Health Centre provides healthcare and healing to the Indigenous Community in Toronto through 60 programs and services offered in support of newborns through seniors, with 27,000 client visits annually.
Until October 31, sales from Left Field’s campaign, Beer For Everybody will support Anishnawbe Health Foundation and the urban Indigenous community in Toronto – including 70,000 First Nations, Inuit and Métis living in the city – one-third of Ontario’s Indigenous population for whom loss of land, culture, and family through government-led policies like the residential school system and the ‘60s Scoop’ have had a traumatic impact resulting in a loss of identity with numerous ramifications.
