The Canadian Beer Cup, a new national competition launched by the craft beer industry, has created a new category: Canadian Style Beer.
Brewers are challenged to submit a beer that is considered to be uniquely Canadian, due to ingredients, style, process, or another element.
Eligible beer must be brewed by a brewery that is at least 75% owned in Canada, and to have been commercially available with its brand, name and formula owned by the brewery.
Applications are open to eligible breweries between November 17 and December 21, 2021 at canadabeercup.com.
The award ceremonies will take place February 16, 2021.
